Olympia "It's the water"

OLYMPIA IS AWESOME. One of my favorite beers up there behind Old Milly. The Label is so rad every cans like a goodluck charm. Olympia just made sense to get to float down Pembina.

Kingfisher Premium Lager Beer

I had this Kingfisher beer at Two Rooms cafe on Whyte ave. They have a pretty big selection of beers and make a real tasty soup and sandwiches. This Indian lager is nice and refreshing. A good beer for cooling your mouth down while eating hot soup (or curry in India or whatever).
I want a kingfisher as a pet.

BRAHMA

I drank a bunch of these Brazilian beers before going to Neil Young. Neil was super awesome and very intimate without the band. This beer sucks. I mean it's easy to drink fast but for the price it's a waste. It starts a tad skunky and then is just a bland and watery, boring lager. All it has going for itself is a nice feeling shaped bottle and the ability to chug like water. Beers like this stay alive because of massive marketing campaigns and fancy shaped bottles.

Pretty bottle

I prefer beers like this dressed up

PUMPHOUSE - Cadian Cream Ale

This ale is my favorite beer I've tried since starting this gloobbblog thing. It's from Moncton, New Brunswick and has an all around awesome taste. I haven't had many cream ales before but the creamy taste on this one isn't over powering so it makes the beer real smooth tasty for snack time.

FISHEYE SHOT with J.Frizzell while enjoying one

Barefoot Merlot

I had this merlot yesterday at Ikea. It's Ikeas only choice for red and I was actually surprised. It's basic but pretty smooth. When I have wines like this I just picture massive stainless steel canisters for miles and miles and miles and kilometers and forever and ever. C -

Moose Head - Limited addition can

I had a bunch of these on at Kask skatepark on Canada day. A bottle picking lady came by and was as happy as if she won the lottery because of all the empties around the park. I really appreciate a enthusiastic, friendly recycler.
This is good beer for sure. I like the shape of the limited addition cans. Rad shape for drinking outside on a nice summer day. Be careful though because the small feel and refreshing taste can make you drink them to fast and get all drunk and write your day off. Light tasty beer but I prob won't collect the other 3 can graphics. The beer's good but I'd suggest saving the extra three or 4 bucks and getting a 15 pack of Old Mill.

Enjoying one during the fireworks. Jeah

Birra Moretti

"In 1859. Luigi Moretti founded his beer in the walled city of Udine. Like the man on the label, Morerri is genuine. traditional and authentic to its original recipe" - taken from on the bottle.
I think I'd be cooler if they had the actual dude on the label. He was probably to ugly or somethin, dude looks sharp anyways.

Pretty tasty beer imported from Italy. They try to push that the 4.6 precent alcohol content makes it perfect for any time of the day. I think that's straightup gimmicks, those words can be pushed on 4 percent light beers but not 4.6.
Anyways tasty but probably wouldn't buy it at about 15 bucks a 6 pack again. Not that special.

GRUMPY BEAR and POWDER HOUND by the Grizzly Paw Brewing Company

Got these 2 beers today as a gift. Rad!!! Free beer always tastes better but these ones are extra cool. Look at the graphic, it's insane. Brewed in Canmore and real good. The Grumpy Bear is all grumpy because of stealing honey from bees! hah. It's awesome and isn't too sweet like a lot of honey beers. Still a tasty treat for sure and I don't want 6 in a row.

Powder Hound is just ripping it! I don't know what mountain he's at but Canmore is close to a lot of skiing resorts. Good pilsner for sure. I don't know the price on these but to get drunk and support local at the same time is awesome when it tastes good.

Beginning

I made a goal to try a lot of different drinks. I'm going to document them with photos and words.

Old Malwaukee is the best, OBVIOUSLY. Price point, delicious and beautiful. Instant classic like cokacola, sept cokacola is soda and not beer.

I took this photo at the Commercial booze store. Don't go. No Old Milly and it's ittybitty and pricier than most. If you do, get Asahi tall cans. Best bargain for your buck.
