Samuel Adams beer

I like Samuel Adams Boston lager. Compared to the standard watered down American style beers, it has a lot more characteristics and a bigger taste for the same price. I could see Samuel Adams beers being a stepping stone to benefit inexperienced drinkers to break free of the light standard beers. It's not to intense or to light, it's just a decent medium bodied tasty beer.

First snowfall today. Might help me catch up on globbiblogging.

Showing off new wall art. Ooooooo
Finished my last two 'boos from when Troll brought them this summer. Guess this means another visit, and or trip to BC is due...

Viru Estonian Beer

I FINALLY got my chance to go to the Sherbrooke liquor store here in Edmonton on the way back from skating Morinville park. I've heard about it a lot and it's as great as everyone says. Boasting over 800 brands of beer I was in heaven. They had a whole wall rack dedicated to new arrivals and I was surprised they even had a big assortment of cheap beer that I don't see everywhere. Anyways, this Viru beer bottle stood out to me like a peacock in Antarctica and I had to have it. I'm a sucker for weird looking beers especially when I haven't seen one like it before. The beer was pretty good. It was pleasantly more bitter than I expected and went down good and tasty. I'd have more of these if they weren't an expensive import and if they had more tasty beer in it- At 3ooml it's empty in no time.

The bottle doubles elegantly as a vase for my dying flower!!

Lezajsk Beer

If you know me you'll know I really enjoy having big beers at restaurants and bars. I asked for a big beer at Two Rooms cafe a few days ago and got this one. I don't know much about this beer other than it comes from Poland, is 5.5 percent alchy, and apparently goes all the way back to 1525. Whoa, old. This 500 ml beer was a tasty treat that I'd definitely have again.

Oh ya, Two Rooms loses points in my books for serving me it with a Coka-Cola glass.
