St.Ambroise Blonde Pale Ale

This beer is made by McAuslan brewing in Quebec. It's amber coloured, has a bit of a sweet citrus taste and smell at first but then comes off fairly bitter. I'd for sure drink these guys again, they're tasty and well balanced throughout.
I (barely) remember having another beer made by McAuslan years ago and I remember it was pretty good also.

First time using a glass to drink beer at home, classy!

Modelo Especial

This beer is made by the same company that makes Pacifico and Corona amongst others. I found it goes down real easy and was very refreshing in the hot sun but had a bit of an off after taste. The beer in the photo got a little to warm in my backpack so it wasn't as enjoyable as any other ones I had in Cabo. Nonetheless I wish the cops at the airport didn't steal the other ones I had to bring back so I could enjoy a few more of these right now. I like Pacifico more and Corona less.

I'm so backed up,

Big old mills! Darn mexican coppers stole the ones I was bringing back. Boooo. More updates to come. I'm literally 9 beers behind.

Samuel Adams beer

I like Samuel Adams Boston lager. Compared to the standard watered down American style beers, it has a lot more characteristics and a bigger taste for the same price. I could see Samuel Adams beers being a stepping stone to benefit inexperienced drinkers to break free of the light standard beers. It's not to intense or to light, it's just a decent medium bodied tasty beer.

First snowfall today. Might help me catch up on globbiblogging.

Finished my last two 'boos from when Troll brought them this summer. Guess this means another visit, and or trip to BC is due...

Viru Estonian Beer

I FINALLY got my chance to go to the Sherbrooke liquor store here in Edmonton on the way back from skating Morinville park. I've heard about it a lot and it's as great as everyone says. Boasting over 800 brands of beer I was in heaven. They had a whole wall rack dedicated to new arrivals and I was surprised they even had a big assortment of cheap beer that I don't see everywhere. Anyways, this Viru beer bottle stood out to me like a peacock in Antarctica and I had to have it. I'm a sucker for weird looking beers especially when I haven't seen one like it before. The beer was pretty good. It was pleasantly more bitter than I expected and went down good and tasty. I'd have more of these if they weren't an expensive import and if they had more tasty beer in it- At 3ooml it's empty in no time.

The bottle doubles elegantly as a vase for my dying flower!!

Lezajsk Beer

If you know me you'll know I really enjoy having big beers at restaurants and bars. I asked for a big beer at Two Rooms cafe a few days ago and got this one. I don't know much about this beer other than it comes from Poland, is 5.5 percent alchy, and apparently goes all the way back to 1525. Whoa, old. This 500 ml beer was a tasty treat that I'd definitely have again.

Oh ya, Two Rooms loses points in my books for serving me it with a Coka-Cola glass.

Bavaria 8.6 Strong Blonde Beer

I generally stay away from strong beers because I like to have a lot of beers at once and not get all loser'd and write off the day or two. I got this one by impulse with 2 other single cans before going on a awesome fall-time walk in the river valley with my friend Aryn. I didn't want the weight of carrying a six pack around all afternoon and wanted to get buzzed, so bigger stronge beers were a good compromise. It's 7.9 Percent alcohol and has a sweeter taste than a lot of strong beers I've had. I'm glad I got only a single can of this and would not buy it again. This reminds me, last year around this time I was on a funky OJ and colt forty-five kick. I got to get back into that asap while the weather is still good.

Ed Hardy rosé

Pierced hearts, true love, oooooooo. Katie thought of me when she got this and brought it over to try out. After getting over how ridiculous it is that there's a Ed Hardy wine line, it actually wasn't bad. I rarely have rosé wines and I thought this one would be sweet and packed with sugar but to my surprise it's from France and is very dry.

Cariboo Genuine Draft

Weird, I just noticed this beer is called Cariboo and not Caribou while typing this. Named after the BC region. For a cheaper canadian beer, I like this one a lot. It's up there and comparable to Olympia with price point and deliciousness. I have had it brought from BC to Alberta a few times now and it's awesome! Also every case you buy they donate to growing trees.

Bowen Island Extra Pale Ale

This was the first 6 pack Troll and I got when I got to Vancouver. Parched from going straight to Kensington skatepark after flying in that morning, these beers were very tasty. Bitter and delicious. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Pumphouse - Blueberry Ale

Sheri Pee gave me this one! I'm not a big fruit beer fan but this one is not bad. It's not chemical tasting like I find some fruity beers to be. It's too spilly though.

Anchor Steam

This beer has been made in San Francisco since 1896 and is carmelly and delicious. Awesome bottle shape, awesome label and tastes amazing. One of my favorite so far since I started this crap. Really refreshing without losing taste.

Bud Light

I try 'em all. Even if I know it's not my kind of beer. For light ones Bud Light is decent. It's nothing to get excited about. No one rolls up to someone who just purchased it is like, "Yaahh, YOU GOT BUDLIGHT, MY FAV!!!!!", because it's watery, light and notsomuchtaste. My dad seems to enjoy them more than anyone I know.

On a zero sticker'd motorcycle, COOL

Olympia "It's the water"

OLYMPIA IS AWESOME. One of my favorite beers up there behind Old Milly. The Label is so rad every cans like a goodluck charm. Olympia just made sense to get to float down Pembina.
